Eels are a fun fish to keep, but can require a little extra care.
Most eels will require hand-feeding a variety of chopped up raw seafoods 1-2 times per week.
Some eels get rather large so they'll require a very large aquarium, as well as a cave of some kind that they can hide in.
They won't eat any coral or anemones, but they will often hunt down any shrimps or crustaceans in the aquarium.
Eels are also known to climb out of an aquarium if they do not have a fitted top on them. |
