Convict Tang - 3 inch

Tangs, or Surgeonfish, are very common in large reef tanks and come in a variety of shapes and colors.

The Convict Tang is white with black bars.

Keep only 1 tang of this body type per tank unless added together while young in a larger aquarium and may fight with dwarf angelfish.
They are mostly herbivores who graze on algaes and seaweeds throughout the day and are peaceful with different fish.
Tangs can live 10-20 years or more and should be fed a variety of dry and frozen herbivore foods with supplemental seaweed
