The Blue Spotted Puffer will stay rather small, only 4-5 inches.

They may eat any shrimp, crabs, snails in your tank as well as pick at some corals, so use caution in a reef.

They can inflate with water when startled or as a defense against predators and can cause extra stress on the fish.
Their skin contains a toxin to protect itself, so they must be handled with care and hands washed after touching the fish.
They like to eat meaty foods like krill, shrimp, squid and other seafood 1-2 times daily.
